Guy-Raymond's production takes place in house at our modern factory in King's Lynn in the east of England.

We have 23 injection moulding machines for producing plastic parts, as well as 16 turning machines and 2 forging machines for producing metal fixings. This means that subject to minimum quantities we can produce special fixings to customer requirement.

Our research & development and CAD work is carried out in house using Solidworks software, giving us the flexibility to adapt our products to suit our customers' needs. We also use Solidworks SolidCAM, which allows us to create CAM data straight from our 3D component computer model. All new developments are tested in our modern testing laboratory. Many of our products are also tested externally, eg. our lastest castors have been tested at the LGA test institute in Germany.

Many of our injection mould tools are also produced on site in our own toolroom.

In August 2006 we purchased a new Vertical Machining centre with 24 station automatic tool changer. This machine is used mainly for new injection mould tooling, enabling us to produce tooling more quickly and efficiently to speed up new product development.
