When we say made in the UK, we mean it. We don’t just assemble our castors and components here in King’s Lynn, we design and manufacture the metal and plastic parts that go into them, giving us control over the production process and flexibility to meet customer specifications.  This requires a significant amount of raw material to pass through the factory every year – approximately 400 tonnes of steel bar, 300 tonnes of nylon and 100 tonnes of other polymers.

We’ve just completed a programme of upgrades to facilitate the manoeuvring of these materials at all stages of their manufacturing journey, from goods in to despatch.

Before delivery of the shiny new machinery, the doorways around the factory were altered, making them higher to accommodate the new, larger Jungheinrich forklifts. Our qualified forklift drivers then updated their skills with some training before getting behind their new wheels. Our IMD department were next to benefit with a new Robur tool truck, aiding the lifting of heavy tools in and out of the injection moulding machines.

Just one of our recent investment projects keeping the wheels rolling smoothly and future-proofing our manufacturing capabilities!
